Hi there!

I am Ingrid and I am so happy that you’re here! I am a singer, actor, and dancer based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. I recently graduated with a BFA in Musical Theatre from Ball State University.

I fell in love with musical theatre when I watched The Sound of Music for the first time at three years old. From there followed a perfect Ethel Merman impression, an obsession with Doris Day in Calamity Jane, and dreams of starring in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang opposite Dick Van Dyke — all before the age of five. So one could say that I have a deep appreciation for the classics.

I have carried this passion with me throughout my education and into my career. I aspire to be a part of the venture to reinvent these timeless works. Made possible by intricate composition and lyricism, I believe that there is so much potential to morph classics into something that can resonate with modern audiences in a way that has never been done before.

Outside of theatre, I run my Etsy shop, SveaCreates where I create and sell all kinds of visual art — including crocheted and beaded goods, watercolor paintings, and handcrafted prints.
